![]() ![]() ![]() Go to Sibelius, and open preferences -> Input Devices. Now, we need to "jiggle" the Garage Band Playback a bit until it is generating the correct MIDI. Now MidiO will (attempt to) send MIDI info to the Core MIDI IAC Driver. Make sure MidiO is ON and set the destination to IAC Driver Bus 1 (The ReadMe distributed with MidiO are outdated and have you find the options in a completely different and incorrect place.) Then double click the little icon to the left of the popup menu to bring up MidiO's options. ![]() Click the edit tab, and from the pop up menu with the instrument name (e.g., Piano), choose MidiO as the option. Double click on the header at the left, and you should see the info panel show up (has a Browse & Edit tab). To get MidiO working in garage band, once you've installed the AudioUnit: Obviously, these instructions are for Mac OS X. OK - I managed to get the notes out of Garage band, but not without a lot of hassle. ![]()
